Eat em for Adam

Eat 'em for Adam

Adam Stevens of the Junior Class is currently undergoing chemo treatment for a brain tumor.  In February he will begin radiation in Minneapolis where he will stay for the month.  The trials and expenses imposed upon Adam and his family are many as they now look to God and medicine for a most favorable outcome.

The "Eat em for Adam” campaign will help with some of the related expenses of transportation, lodging and food, and, in a very small way, help our friends, neighbors and classmates in Adam and his family get through this time of need just a little bit easier.  We hope to (a) make up to 1,000 cups of puppy chow, (b) sell them at all remaining concessions events for $2 per cup, and (c) award the Stevens family $1 for each cup sold.  The materials for the puppy chow have all been donated by anonymous families and American Crystal Sugar, so all we need to do is make, package and sell it.  Will you help?

We need 10-12 volunteers to help make and package the puppy chow.  Eileen Kangas (218-329-1838) will be spearheading the effort, which will be done this Friday (01/26) from 2:00 – 4:00 at the school in the teacher’s lounge.  Is this something you can help with?  And if not, might you consider making up some puppy chow at home from your favorite recipe and sending it to school in air-tight gallon Ziploc bags with your daughter/son any time this coming week?

If you are moved to help in a small way and can make one or both of these options work, please fill out the short form below to get plugged into this campaign.
